How to Reactivate SOLIDWORKS Network Licenses

This guide explains how to reactivate SOLIDWORKS network licenses on a SolidNetWork License Manager Server.

NOTE: Reactivation is required annually for licenses on SolidNetWork License Servers using version 2022 or later, regardless of the installed product’s release year.

Step 1: Launch the SolidNetWork License Manager Server

  1. On the server or machine where your SOLIDWORKS Network licenses are hosted, Navigate to the Start Menu.
  2. Go to SOLIDWORKS Tools [Version Year] > SolidNetWork License Manager Server [Version Year].

 

Step 2: Access the Server Administration Tab

  1. In the License Manager, open the Server Administration tab.
  2. Locate the License Information section.
  3. Click Reactivate.

 

Step 3: Review Licenses Requiring Reactivation

  1. A dialog box will display licenses with expiration and reactivation dates.
  2. Licenses requiring renewal are marked with asterisks (*).

NOTE: Licenses expiring or requiring reactivation within 30 days will be highlighted in red.

Step 4: Select and Reactivate Licenses

  1. Use the Serial Number Dropdown to select All or search for a specific license by entering its number.
  2. Click Reactivate.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete the reactivation process.
  4. Once the reactivation is complete, click Finish.

 

Your SOLIDWORKS network licenses are now reactivated.
