How to Redeem SOLIDWORKS Certification Vouchers

This article provides step-by-step instructions to find and redeem SOLIDWORKS Certification Vouchers

SOLIDWORKS Certifications are a great way to prove your skills and showcase to employers your areas of expertise!  The certifications cover SOLIDWORKS basics to expert levels and have several specialties contained within! 

Each SOLIDWORKS license on active subscription should include three free certification vouchers per six calendar months, resetting January 1st and July 1st. Ask your reseller for more details!

Steps to retrieve the vouchers

  1. When you're ready to get started with the certification process, head to the link below:

    https://3dexperience.virtualtester.com/#home

  2. Click Log in on the top right to log in with your 3DEXPERIENCE username and password, but this needs to be a 3DEXPERIENCE ID that is linked to your company's assets, including a SOLIDWORKS product with an active subscription maintenance plan.
  3. On the left hand side, click on the “$” to expand the offers menu and select Subscription Offers.

  4. Click the LOOKUP MY LICENSES button, then click on the plus sign to show all of the available SOLIDWORKS certification exams that you can get a voucher code for. 



    Keep in mind that the system doesn’t track which certification exams you’ve already passed. To avoid using a voucher code for a certification you’ve already earned, please check your certification history (unless you intend to share the voucher code with someone else).

  5. Select the desired exam and then click the CREATE EXAM VOUCHERS button.

TIP: If you're having trouble seeing any of the buttons or links on the virtual tester website, try resetting your browser zoom.

Installing the Tester Client

  1. Once you have those vouchers created, click on the home button, then download the Virtual TesterPRO Client. This will come in the form of a small .exe file. Head to your downloads folder and double-click the file to run.


  2. This will create a folder per your desired location. Once that is complete, you can open that folder and double click "Tangix TesterPRO.exe" to start the tester client.

Starting an Exam

  1. Once you have started Tangix TesterPRO, click on the desired language and log in with your credentials.
  2. Select the appropriate software category for the voucher code you're intending to use.

  3. Next, select the voucher code into the input field and select 'Submit'. Your exam should load, and you will be able to begin certification testing!

  4. Once complete, you will receive a pass/fail notification, and if you passed, your badge will be delivered to your email, or you can return to 

    https://3dexperience.virtualtester.com/#home

    to view your certifications or request more vouchers!
