Whitelisting SWYFT Solutions in Your Email
With all the new email rules and SPAM filters, it’s important to ensure you are still able to receive those emails that you want to receive! To be sure you are receiving all important communications from us, please add @swyftsol.com to your email’s trusted sender list (also known as ‘whitelisting’). Here are some steps on how you can do that, based on your email platform.
1. Gmail
- Open Gmail and log in to your account.
- Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select See all settings.
- Navigate to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
- Scroll down and click Create a new filter.
- In the From field, enter @swyftsol.com.
- Click Create filter.
- In the next window, check the box for Never send it to Spam.
- Optionally, you can apply other actions, such as categorizing these emails into a specific folder.
- Click Create filter again to confirm and save your changes.
2. Outlook (Web and Desktop)
For Outlook.com and New Outlook Desktop App:
- Log in to your Outlook.com account.
- Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner and select View all Outlook settings.
- Go to Mail > Junk email.
- Under Safe senders and domains, click Add.
- Enter @swyftsol.com and press Enter to confirm
- Click Save to finalize the changes.
For Classic Outlook Desktop App:
- Open Outlook and go to the Home tab.
- Click Junk (in the Delete group).
- Select Junk E-mail Options.
- Go to the Safe Senders tab.
- Click Add and enter the domain @swyftsol.com to whitelist
- Click OK to save the changes.
4. Yahoo Mail
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner and select More Settings.
- Go to Filters on the left-hand menu.
- Click Add new filters.
- In the filter setup:
- Name the filter (e.g., "SWYFT Solutions Emails").
- Set From to contains and input @swyftsol.com.
- Choose Inbox as the folder to deliver the emails to.
- Click Save to apply the filter.
5. Apple Mail (iCloud)
- Log in to your iCloud account or open Apple Mail on your device.
- Go to Preferences and select Rules.
- Click Add a Rule and configure:
- If a message is from: @swyftsol.com.
- Then move the message to: Inbox or another folder of your choice.
- Click OK to save the rule.
5. Other Email Platforms
For less common email platforms or email clients, follow these general steps:
- Locate the Settings or Preferences menu for your email.
- Find options related to Filters, Spam, or Safe Senders.
- Add @swyftsol.com to your safe sender list, filter settings, or contact list.
Additional Tips
- Check your spam or junk folder periodically to ensure no important emails are misplaced.
- Mark any @swyftsol.com email that is currently in the spam folder as "Not Spam" to train your email service to recognize it as legitimate.
- For enterprise-level email systems (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, G Suite admin), contact your IT administrator to whitelist @swyftsol.com at the domain level.
